Keith Olbermann Fired?
-- MSNBC relationship was 'failing for a long time', The Huffington Post reported on January 22, 2011:
"Keith Olbermann's exit from MSNBC appeared abrupt to viewers of his show, but the talk-show host and his network were involved "in a relationship that's been failing for a long time," an NBC Universal executive said Saturday.
Olbermann's announcement at the end of Friday's "Countdown" that it would be his last show quiets, at least for the moment, the most dominant liberal voice in a cable-television world where opinionated talk has been the most bankable trend over the past several years.
As Olbermann read from a James Thurber short story during a three-minute exit statement Friday night, MSNBC simultaneously e-mailed a statement to reporters that the network and host "have ended their contract." Neither indicated a reason nor addressed whether Olbermann quit or was fired.

What a freshness on TV! Little to match him and make freedom of the press so essential to our country!

NSNBC's Keith Olbermann Suspended After Donating To Democrats
-- Politico reported on November 5, 2010:
"MSNBC host Keith Olbermann has been suspended indefinitely without pay after Politico reported that he made three campaign contributions to Democratic candidates.
MSNBC President Phil Griffin said in a statement Friday: “I became aware of Keith's political contributions late last night. Mindful of NBC News policy and standards, I have suspended him indefinitely without pay."
Olbermann made campaign contributions to two Arizona members of Congress and failed Kentucky Senate candidate Jack Conway ahead of Tuesday’s election.
Olbermann, who acknowledged the contributions in a statement to Politico, made the maximum legal donations of $2,400 apiece to Conway and to Arizona Reps. Raul Grijalva and Gabrielle Giffords. He donated to the Arizona pair on Oct. 28 — the same day that Grijalva appeared as a guest on Olbermann’s “Countdown” show."

I strongly request that any suspension of Keith Olbermann from "Countdown" will be brief. He is a national treasure. He is one of very few news sources I believe are trustworthy.
Most important: he uses humor in the ancient tradition of jesters who speak truth to power when others do not have the means to do so.
In an age when the most egregious lies are freely published and when corporations and billionaires have discovered that they can control information, his informative program serves a vital balancing role for our democracy.

Mr.Olbermann ,Since when do judges take bribes is that against the law .They had to have taken a bribe to make the law change so China and other countries and big corps. Run our country .There needs to be an investigation, and remove the judges who passed this law .I can not understand why they put congress and the senate sets up for sale to the highest bidder ,why not just put the whole U.S. up for sale to the highest bidder ,cause that is what they almost have done by doing this .
