The Philippines economy had stagnated during the Marcos regime, Marcos had become a model of corruption and greed in Philippine politics, when it's neighbors in the region were growing economically in terms of GDP over 7% for 2 decades, the Philippine economy was stagnating, After people power in 1986 the Philippines had begun recovering from stagflation, but the culture of corruption has mired the Philippine political system, Gloria Arroyo is not devious she is not their because of greed but because she is an economist who just wants to jump start the Philippine economy again,she wants to follow the path of his father the late President Macapagal in whose time had the Philippine economy the second largest in Asia next to Japan. If you're going to look at how the Philippine economy, tourism, education and job creation it's the Philippines best show of potential in a generation. The majority of Filipinos know old Philippine politics where economic growth to provide better life for Filipinos aren't look into, The Philippines need to educate it's people in terms of financial literacy and savings in order to grow and have a better future. Gloria Arroyo has done a good job in the span of 9 years of her Presidency. There is no substitute to job creation and providing education to most Filipinos who need education to address it's social and economic miseries. When people are taught how to lead the greater path to economic prosperity and better future there's no way a government can be wrong. When Arroyo's term end in 2010 she will be remembered not as the worst President the Philippines has had ever had but the Philippines President who jump started the Philippines goal of Putting it's economy in shape and on track. She will be remembered as the most hard working President of the Asian nation. The Philippines has lots of challenges to face but with the Philippines on track to prosperity and economic growth who would want a dumb and corrupt Philippines President for 2010 Maybe we need another economist in the name of Mar Roxas who is economically savvy and brilliant planner and a visionary..

gloria arroyo is so pathetic. She is a drudge, a slave of power. She is out of her senses and doesn!t even consider that man is just a transient here in this world. She is the most obnoxious president the Philippines ever had. She is greedy and unprincipled! Imagine, she is running for congress just so she wouldn't lose her immunity! She is bothered by the scenario when she is no longer the president! KAWAWA NAMAN SI NGIPIN!

Gloria Arroyo is a greedy person, having no perception of the feelings of others whose only concern is achieving and obtaining things that she wants. She appears to be really nice in the beginning, until she got the power and it intoxicated her beyond reason. I still can't believe how evil people can get - but she's a living proof that greedy persons really do exist. I hope she will come to her senses and realize that the bad karma is coming her way sooner than she expected due to the angry vibes from non-supporters and people who hates her! I am sure her father (wherever he is now) is very ashamed of her!!!

Gloria Arroyo is the greatest knave in Philippine politics. Just like the people around her, her cabinet members, the military are just like her- all scoundrels! Anyway, what is important is the money that she (gloria) has been bribing these people! They forgot that heavens will demand retribution during the last chapter of their lives! Justice secretary Gonzales will definitely become bed- ridden!

Gloria Arroyo will be written down in Philippine History as the most corrupt and lackadaisical president the Philippines ever had. Her presidency has always been tainted with dishonesty that majority of the Filipino people do not think she is the legitimate president. It is very obvious that she has been involved in back scratching and notorious for back pedaling. Anyway, who wouldn't enjoy the sublimity, grandeur and majesty of being a president. The hell with those who think that she is the president that never was!
