I am an elderly woman who wants to let Robert De Niro know, while my mind still functions (lol), that I have admired his amazing acting for all of his career, but, above all, I stand in awe of any person who never gives up, who abides, who persists. It makes all the difference between an ordinary man and a legend.
This extraordinary persistence by Robert De Niro throughout his life, in spite the most difficult of obstacles is legend. I stand in awe.
