Bob is brilliant. He seems so artisty macho sometimes but the lyrics he writes and sings show us a beautiful literacy about his deep feelings and more than most people realize, about love. Happy 70th, Bob.
(I was shocked to see that management of the Rock n Roll museum let the opportunity fly by, to have some appropriate homage to Dylan on his birthday last week. Not a word was spoken or a display erected, to honor America's greatest poet. Warning: Oct. 13 - Paul Simon turns 70!)

The first time I heard Bob Dylan was is 1963. I wondered how he was able to say what he was saying, and not being killed. I then said, if Bob Dylan was brave enough to think, write, and sing what was on his mind, so could I. It's 2011 now, and I wish to thank Bob Dylan for freeing my mind.

he open my eyes, my heart, and my mind to diversity and the great chemistry of thought, speech, poetry, and the paradoxes of life liberty and the pursuit of cosmic dust harmony

If anyone saw the documentery on Dylan in the 60's they could se how big an a**hole he was & how he treated people. I lost all respect for this tiny man after seeing him talking to people like they were dirt under his feet.
