A comment about John McCain:
I am glad mccain is still running and he has my support as a veteran of both the coldwar and vietnam era. He is the man who can make change happen in washington and has both the experience and the will to make it happen. I'd be proud to call him commander and chief. God bless him and his vp Sarah Palin.

A comment about Barack Obama:
I believe it is time for an African American to lead as Commander and Chief of the United States, however, Barak Obama is not that person. He lacks experience in so many ways. Maybe in 10 or 15 years as he becomes more mature in his thought process and actually casts more than a present vote in congress. There are so many more viable African American candidates that Oprah could throw her millions behind - Ms. Rice, Col. Powell, Alan Keys to name a few. There are many more. Let Barak get some more experience under his belt and then we'll see. He is a great speaker and motivator. The American people are not impressed with fluff. We need someone who has actually made decisions and can lead us into a new era.

A comment about Sarah Palin:
Sarah Palin gets my vote. She has more executive experience than the other 3 put together. I wish she was running for President. She is a smart, articulate, beautiful woman. She can bring home the bacon and fry it up in the pan! She is a living tribute to every working mother in the United States! Thank God McCain used his head in this decision.

A comment about Sarah Palin:
Good choice, definitely somebody not belonging to the political incrowd. I'm not sure about the "diversity thing" that other people seem to be rooting for. Diversity and unity are mutually exclusive. Which is not to say that women should not be in politics
