Why does Whoopi have to be an evil person beause she believes something other than what you believe? If you lived in a country that didn't believe in abortions, you would find something else to complain about if you had the feedom to do so. This is what religion has done to most people on this planet. "If you don't believe in what I've been taught then you are wrong and evil. I'ts sad that the word (evil) would be used in describing Whoopi.If people would stop complaining about such things and try to help in some small way the things they can change like educating one so they don't to resort to abortion that you feel so stongly about. Know that you cannot change my opinion and it does not make you right or me wrong. It is just an opinion.

Whoopi, Love you being on the View and must admit that you Sherri and Joy are the reason I watch. While I am much older than you I do understand and agree with most of your opinions. I would not bash a sister on national t.v.like some have done to you regarding Mel Gibson. I do agree with you l00% about Mel. He does need anger help. While watching t.v.last night, I saw at least three occasions on different shows that two people were in the face mad and spitting out a lot of anger in words and almost came to blows. I know that you have to watch your mouth like me when I get around certain people, but everybody says many things in the privacy of their home/bedroom. Mel said many things that were hurtful and many felt that, but like you whoopi, I didn't. I think that many people say things that will hurt you even though they really don't feel that way.You would be suprised at how many people call you the N word hehind your back. It seems like woman are getting paid for exposings men. You men better not do or say anything,anywhere that can incriminate you. You men need to wake up and know that a woman scorned these days will cost you "big time".
While Joy claims that she does'nt, say such things,she has to know that there are many who do. Sorry Whoopi I have to change the channel when there is a political discussion. Elizabeth just runs up my blood pressure. When I die it won't be because of Elizabeth's immature ideas. I disagree with Joy a lot, but she does not spit out anger and hate. I think Whoopi is an evil person because she pushes the murder of innocent, defenseless babies. I have no respect for her. I am a woman and I don't buy her garbage about it somehow being about women's "reproductive rights." There is no right to kill another human being. She speaks about equality for blacks but hypocritically denies rights to another class of people by supporting abortion.

Whoopi Goldberg is an actress best known for her award-winning roles in The Color Purple, Sister Act, and Made in America. As of October 2002, she appeared in 149 films.
Goldberg's career began with stand-up comedy in the San Francisco Bay Area and her one-woman show: The Spook Show. First noticed by Mike Nichols, he assisted he in producing solo comedy show Whoopi Goldberg. Steven Spilberg noticed her performances and cast her for the film adaptation of the novel The Color Purple, by Alice Walker. This performance earned her an Oscar nomination for best actress.
Her next film performance was in Ghost, where she played the role of a fake shaman who manages to make contact with the dead; she won an Oscar for best supporting actress. Following, her status continued to soar with her performance in Sister Act and a recurring role in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Goldberg hosted talk show, The Whoopi Goldberg Show, which ran for one year (1992 - 1993). She also starred in sitcom, Whoopi beginning in 2003; however, low ratings caused a cancellation in May 2004.
Goldberg wrote Book, a collection of stories that document her life, in 1997. She is an advocate of women's rights, particularly in terms of abortion.
Her most recent film appearance was in The Aristocrats, a very explicit comical feature.
In May 2006, Clear Channel announced that Goldberg would be hosting her own radio show, Wake Up With Whoopi, set to debut summer 2006.
