Mr. K. is brilliant. He is able to break down and get to the heart of complex issues and situations.
I know he will not run for political office but I wish he would. He would make a great adviser to a President of the USA. Obama could use him - but probably will not.

This Kraut Wants American Hegemony!
Charles Krauthhammer is a nationally syndicated newspaper columnist with the Washington Post Writers Group. He also writes for Time magazine and the Weekly Standard. Although he once worked in the administration of Democrat Jimmy Carter, his views today are typically neoconservative and sometimes reactionary.
Krauthammer was born in New York City and raised in Montreal. He was educated at McGill University, majoring in political science and economics. He attended medical school at Harvard (M.D. in 1975), then practiced medicine for three years as a resident and then chief resident in psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital.
In 1978, he quit medical practice and moved to Washington to direct planning in psychiatric research for the Jimmy Carter administration. He began contributing articles to The New Republic. During the presidential campaign of 1980, he served as a speech writer to Vice President Walter Mondale. He joined The New Republic as a writer and editor in 1981.
Krauthammer writes a monthly essay for Time magazine and contributes to several other publications, including The Weekly Standard (edited by fellow neoconservative William Kristol) and The New Republic. He has received numerous awards, including the National Magazine Award for essays and the first annual ($250,000) Bradley Prize.
Krauthhammer is a member of the Project for the New American Century, a neoconservative organization which promotes global American leadership. His perspective is that the United States is a superpower and it should assert its authority and invite others to be part of it. Consonant with this stance, he is a vocal supporter of the Iraq war.
In the June 2001 of The Weekly Standard, Krauthammer wrote in reference to the United States that "we run a uniquely benign imperium. This is not mere self-congratulation; it is a fact manifest in the way others welcome our power."
