Tucker Carlson Sent Fake ‘Olbermann’ Emails
-- Yahoo! News reported on November 9, 2010:
"Tucker Carlson boasted in July that his site, the Daily Caller, had bought the domain name for liberal MSNBC host Keith Olbermann. Carlson, a conservative journalist and pundit, even said he would start using the email address keith@keitholbermann.com as a gag.
So it was interesting to see that Olbermann allegedly sent some angry emails to the Philadelphia Daily News' Stu Bykofsky using the email address keith@keitholbermann.com.
Phawker.com, which published the exchange, claimed it was "guaranteed 100% for real."And Bykofsky later confirmed to media industry watcher Jim Romenesko that he was writing to keith@keitholbermann.com, which he believed to be Olbermann.
Although emails were indeed sent back and forth, it wasn't Olbermann on the other end."

He Makes Geraldo Look Like Cronkite!
Tucker Carlson is a journalist who hosts the show Tucker on the cable TV network MSNBC. He recently gave up wearing a bowtie, and with it his only hope of distinguishing himself from all the other partisan blowhards on American TV.
Before joining MSNBC, Carlson was a co-host of CNN's debate show Crossfire, where he opined and whined for the Republican side along with Bob Novak. Carlson also hosted PBS's Tucker Carlson: Unfiltered from 2004-2005. His show Tucker was previously known as The Situation with Tucker Carlson on MSNBC. Carlson contributes to the magazines Esquire and The Weekly Standard.
Carlson is the son of Richard W. Carlson, CEO of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting from 1992 until 1997. Prior to his career as a "right-winged" television personality. He was part of the conservative journal Policy Review's editorial staff and a writer for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
His so-called "independent" conservative thinking has been the cause of friction with many Republican political figures. He admits to not being "particularly anti-drug" and changed his supporting views on the Iraq war after visiting Baghdad to report for Esquire Magazine. When he returned, he admitted his disqust "I think it's a total nightmare and disaster, and I'm ashamed that I went against my own instincts in supporting it."
Carlson's thinking has always been criticized from the left. He is viewed as a milquetoast, offering an ineffective response to his show's liberal counterparts. Many see him as uninformed, unintellectual, and boring. He was also criticized harshly for his incorrect Washington Post prediction of a John Kerry victory in the 2004 presidential election.
He currently resides in New Jersey with his wife Susan Andrews and their four children.
