I think Prince William is quite a handsome and charmig man though i have not been priviledged to meet him in person, but mere looking at him and from all the comments that has been written about him from different people, i think he is really a good guy and a very handsome dude. Anyway, i wish him all the happiness that he deserves in his forthcoming wedding.

Will he be King?

Prince William, born William Arthur Philip Louis Mountbatten-Windsor, is a member of the British royal family and an heir to the British throne. His father is Prince Charles of Wales, and his mother was Princess of Wales, Diana.

In direct line to ascend to the British throne, William is a grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh's eldest son. William's only sibling is Prince Harry.

Princess Diana, William's mother, was killed in a car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997. The Prince of Wales flew to Paris with her two sisters to bring her body back to London. The Princess lay in the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace until the night before the funeral. On the day of the funeral, The Prince of Wales accompanied William and Harry - aged 15 and 12 at the time - as they walked behind the coffin from The Mall to Westminster Abbey.

William is involved in several volunteer programs, including Raleigh International. In September 2005 it was announced that William will become the president of The Football Association and Matron to the UK charity Counterpoint, and organization for young people. He carried out his official agreements to represent Queen Elizabeth at the World War II commemorations in New Zealand. He has worked at Chatsworth House in land management. His second work placement was at HSBC banking in London.

The Prince expresses great respect for the British government and would like to enter the armed forces. However, there is a reluctance by the British governments to allow the heir to the throne into a position of danger.

William will ascend the throne in the future. He will become King William V. if he decides to use this name. He has recently been involved in a romance with Kate Middleton, whom he met while attending St. Andrews University in 2001.
